Exciting Litter Announcement!
We are thrilled to announce the pairing of our beautiful Ridgy Didge Little Ruby Gem "Maple" and the handsome Tegan's Vineyard Romance "Tug".
The pair came together on Thursday the 16th of July; following confirmation of the success of the pairing, the puppies will be expected to arrive in mid-September with a homecoming to their forever families in mid-November.
This promises to be a very special litter of Miniature Australian Cobberdogs, with puppies expected to mature around the 8–10 kg mark. Maple weighs 8.4 kg, while Tug is a compact 10 kg, making this pairing ideal for families seeking a smaller companion.
Both Maple and Tug have stunning rich red coats with gorgeous soft wavy fleece, giving us a wonderful indication of the beautiful coats we can expect from their puppies. Just as importantly, they both possess the affectionate, gentle and intelligent temperaments that make Australian Cobberdogs such exceptional family companions and therapy dogs.
We can't wait to welcome this litter and watch these little ones grow. If you've been hoping for a beautiful Miniature Red Cobberdog with a loving nature, this could be the perfect litter for you!
Stay tuned for updates as we share Maple's journey and, hopefully, the arrival of these precious puppies.
Puppy Raising Program
A Beautiful Start to Life
At Shorebreak Pals, we believe that how a puppy is raised is just as important as how they are bred. Every puppy is nurtured in our family home, where they experience a structured, enriching environment designed to encourage confidence, resilience and a calm, gentle nature.
As an Accredited Therapy Dogs Australia Trainer, Michelle brings additional knowledge and experience in understanding canine behaviour, early learning and the importance of positive human–dog relationships. This experience helps shape our puppy-raising program, giving each puppy the very best start in life.
Our puppies benefit from:
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and gentle daily handling.
Exposure to normal household sounds, routines and family life.
Age-appropriate enrichment activities that encourage confidence and problem-solving.
Early grooming experiences, including brushing, clipper exposure, handling and nail care.
Foundation work for toilet training and crate training.
Positive socialisation with people, environments and new experiences.
Individual attention to support each puppy's unique temperament and development.
Our goal is to raise happy, well-adjusted puppies that transition smoothly into their forever homes, providing families with confident companions who are ready to continue learning and thrive in everyday life.
